The F.D.R.C. was formed in 1980 and has progressed from very small beginnings to the well established Club it is today. We pride ourselves on being a friendly Club and if you our Members come along to the events we organise, either to take part or to help you will soon make friends among the other Members.

We have a Club Newsletter which is published every other month and is a very useful source of Club information. It is traditionally posted to members but now it is available in email format or on the website - see Club Newsletters page.

The F.D.R.C. run a varied programme of events including Shows, Clinics, Lessons (individual or group) & Fun events for you & your horse or pony. On the social side there are Outings, Talks, Social Get-togethers. We also compete in Inter-Club Team Competitions in Dressage, Show Jumping , Horse Trials, Quadrille and most recently Endurance Riding & Trec. Our ridden teams have, over the years, competed at Wembley, White City , Kent County, Hickstead & Olympia. So as you can see there is a lot of scope for enjoyment for yourself & your mount.

The end of our year is marked by the Annual General Meeting - this is where we take care of the Club's official business, look back at the past years activities, and give out PRIZES & AWARDS to deserving members.

The BHS Riding Clubs are divided into areas and The Faversham & District come under Area 10. We are based in and around Faversham and have members from a wide area of East Kent. We are always happy to welcome new Members.

2010 FDRC TOP TEN DRESSAGE SERIES

1st Prize of £50.00 for the Winner plus Trophy

We were so delighted by the response to this competition last year with 100 horses & riders ending up on the leader board having been placed 1st-10 th in the qualifying classes that we are running the competition again for 2010

This event has again been generously sponsored by Allseas Cargo(UK) Ltd to whom we are very grateful.

The shows will run throughout the 2010 season
ALL dressage classes in ALL our shows this season will count towards the Ten Ten Series

The prize winners will be notified at the end of the year and the prizes will be presented
at the FDRC’s AGM which will be held in Feb 2011
